Currently undergoing extensive restoration, this Mosquito was built in June 1945 and stored until 1953 when the aircraft was delivered to Sywell for conversion by Brooklands Aviation to a TT.35. TA719 featured in the films ‘633 Squadron’ (as HJ898/HT-G) and ‘Mosquito Squadron’, in which it became damaged by fire and many items from the aircraft were stolen before the aircraft could be recovered. TA719 was acquired by Duxford in 1978.
