The second flying copy of the I-15bis aircraft was restored in 2002 by Vladimir Burns’ Aviarrestavratsiya company. During the construction of this aircraft, elements of the I-15bis with serial number 4439, found in Karelia in 1997 and most likely belonging to the 65th Attack Aviation Regiment, were used: fragments of the inner hood trim, floor elements and mounts for PV-1 machine guns, fairings for inter-wing struts.

This I-153 is one of three and the only one flying in our country. The car owes its birth to New Zealand pilot, aviation fan Tim Wallis and Alpine Fighter Collection, who in the early 1990s ordered the creation of flying replicas of three I-153 and six I-16 from the Novosibirsk company Aviarestavratsiya. The entire project was completed in 1999. This aircraft, built on the basis of the remains of a machine with serial number 6326, was handed over to the customer in 1997.
