Air France used their brand new A-300 on the JFK-FDF route during the winter of 1976. It only last a few months as I recall.

Interesting. I didn't know the A300 was actually flying by '76. I'd have figured it was still in development stage. I thought it appeared more towards 1980. Was this Air France's main livery then. Or was it a throwback. I never remember them with this livery and I go back aways.

BTW I really miss the A300/310. I thought they were beautiful planes. Tapered at the end so beautifully. And those unique Airbus cockpit windows. And they were even better when they added the winglets.
