Close-cropped rear Stbd view of RAN Fairey Firefly AS6 WD827 MSN F8655 on outdoor display at the Moorabbin Aviation Museum (MAM) in early Jan 1988. This Firefly was delivered to the RAN in Glasgow Scotland on 16Oct1950, and embarked on HMAS SYDNEY. On completion of RAN Service, the aircraft was presented to the Australian Air League in Blacktown NSW in Nov 1956. She was acquired by the MAM in 1972, and is now displayed indoors. (Note 'Invasion Stripes' on fuselage and wings.)

The Ex-RAN Fairey Gannet AS.1 nose visible at rear left is XG789, MSN F9357 Code 841/M, Delivered to the RAN in Glasgow Scotland in Sep 1958 and Withdrawn from service on 15Aug1967. Sold to Australian Aircraft Restoration Group (AARG) and displayed at Moorabbin Air Museum (MAM), now known as Australian National Aviation Museum (ANAM).
