I fully agree: slender, powerful and more civilian-looking than the 707 (personal taste). I had the privilege of flying on the DC8 twice: UA's DC-8-72 JFK-DEN in Aug 1986 and PL's DC-8-63 LIM-SCL in Jul 1989.
