You gotta love the final approach to LGA. One of the best in the US. I did that approach once, but at night.

What a great, detailed shot! It's nice to see New York City so well pictured. I especially like the way the bridge fits into the shot. Nice picture!

Stunning view, but somehow this picture bring my memory back to 9/11 and that tragic day!Unfortunately this beautiful sight was the last thing seen by all those who have been in those planes before they crashed in WTC.God bless them all!

If you see a orange boat off downtown NYC also known as the Staten Island Ferry, that is the ferry that takes me home everyday.

If I had the power, I would go back to the past and change all that things that sadly happened on this day...and the world wouldn't be like today...the big apple would keep its twins wich was the symbol of the city(even the entire country and even abroad)...god bless everyone...

You should see the view at night when the planes land on 22. The lights (especially at Times Square) razzle dazzle you. A better view is when you are coming into Kennedy during the night south/southeast bound at the 12-15,000ft mark. NYC looks like a brightly jeweled map.

Good view of the Big Apple, but as others say, it looks empty. You can see Battery Park at the lower part of the island, exactly where the towers once stood. A sobering sight for anyone that goes there. God bless the victims and their familes.

What happened on 9/11 was tragic and beyond one's comprehension. Symbolically, the Towers are now a poignant memory. Having said that, way back (circa 1970), this was how it looked. I personally think the skyline looked better without them. Just my opinion and in no way meant to disrespect!
